![]() The intake interview extracts personal and family background, criminal and incarceration history, alcohol/other drug use, as well as medical and mental health concerns. Inmate Service Unit Staff conduct intake interviews with newly admitted inmates. The number of inmates per visit will be limited, if the website states that there are “no time slots available”, visits are either not available for that day, or the session is full.Visits must be scheduled at least (24) hours prior to the time selected and cannot be scheduled more than (7) days in advance.Visitors can schedule unlimited visits with multiple inmates but not at the same time.Each inmate can have two (1) hour visits per week, with the week starting on Sunday.When the visitor schedules a visit, they have the option to add one additional person to the visit.We only deny people if the identification or picture doesn’t match with what they submitted. They will then receive an email letting them know if they are approved or denied.They will need to submit a picture of themselves as well as a valid ID.They will have to select “schedule session” under “Securus Video Connect” then “add a new facility” and choose “Albany County In-Person”.Friends and family will have to go to the website listed below (it’s the same for virtual visitation) and sign up for an account.Video Visitation The Securus website is ready to start scheduling in-person visitation. The letter must include the parent or legal guardian's name, address, and telephone number, the reason for the visit, the date and time of such visit, and the name of the inmate to be visited. ![]() If not, the accompanying adult must possess a notarized letter from the parent or legal guardian authorizing such a visit. Visitors under the age of 18 must have their birth certificate and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Acceptable forms of ID: Valid driver’s license, or non-driver ID, U.S. Such identification must include visitor's name, address, photograph, date of birth, and signature. Identification Requirements: All visitors must present proper identification in order to visit an inmate. Nothing may be given to an inmate during a visit. No other items allowed beyond the lobby area. The only item that may be in the possession of a visitor is the facility locker key. Failure to properly clear scanner will result in denial of entry. All visitors must pass through a scanner. Violation of such could result in termination of, or denial of, a visit. All visitors are subject to the facility’s rules and regulations.
